JOB DESCRIPTION/EQUIPMENT:
I work very hard to help families with their treatment, account, and insurance concerns. I take great pride in working to make all aspects of the orthodontic experience as smooth as possible for our patients and families!

INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
I love that our specialty allows us to see our patients and our patients' families on such a regular basis! It's a privilege that our patients share with us their family occasions, stories, joys and in some cases, sorrows. Each patient, in whatever might be their own unique way, touches me personally--they really do.

FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
Good food, good company, good conversation is always my favorite hobby! I also fish, hike, motorcycle (badly), and I am still interested in languages. Most recently I've taken up snowmobiling, some rock climbing, and hope to try my hand at fly fishing this year.

JOB DESCRIPTION/EQUIPMENT:
As an assistant I get to work with many patients each day. It's nice to catch up on the weeks between appointments with them. I also try to keep Dr. Stone on his toes: Stocking up on WhiteOut and reminding Dr. Stone to give reward nickels to good brushers! (He doesn't really need reminding--I just like to tease him before he gets a chance to get out a nickel himself!)

INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
I think that we have a very fun office. You never know what subject of conversation we might have on any given day. Sometimes it's TV trivia or "Who is Betsy Ross?" or "Where do bananas come from?" Occasionally a patient might require a special long appointment which must be done in the morning but even though these patients might be missing a bit of school, they are still learning something at the appointment with us!

FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
I live in Hudson with my husband Mike, our 8 1/2 year old son J.D. and our overly friendly dog Kaylee. Most of my spare time is spent playing taxi to a very active future NHL player, traveling from ice rink to deck hockey rink. If there is any time left over, I enjoy quilting, sewing and painting. Anything in my house that stands still long enough has been covered with a quilt or soon will be. I need to work so that I can fund my crafts addiction--fabrics, buttons, thread, paint brushes, you name it!

JOB DESCRIPTION/EQUIPMENT(S):
I'm the front desk person who can answer three phone lines, schedule visits at the front desk window, let the assistants know who's arrived, photocopy and answer questions for Dr. Stone ALL AT THE SAME TIME! and still have time to pop a mint into my mouth!

INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
I love trying to recognize and guess the name of the patient that just ran by my window at 60 mph to get to the Nintendo machine!

FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
I live in Hudson with my husband Jim and our three boys: Jimmy, Jared and Justin, who keep us very busy. We have 2 dogs, and a parrot! I like to garden and go fishing with my family (I let someone else take the fish off the hook for me though!). I am hoping to find time to get back to my hobby of archery--that might slow down the run to the Nintendo machine!

JOB DESCRIPTION/EQUIPMENT(S):
I'm also a lab technician and coordinator, making appliances as well as the beautiful study models that are seen at the consultation visit. (Some days I wear a lot of the plaster that the models are made with!).

INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
Although I started working in general dentistry, I chose and prefer to work in orthodontics because I get the opportunity to know our patients on a professional and personal level--I know and remember each patient personally! (In spare moments I'm also a "Mall Spy", smoking out gum chewers who wear braces! Call me Hawkeye.)

FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
My husband Dave, daughter Nikki, son Li'l Dave, and I have lived in the area for some time now. I'm a true Harley Girl who enjoys sewing, reading, walking and I'm a big tanning aficionado (bulb? sun? love them both!). For the moment, our family's anxiously awaiting the arrival of our soon-to-be newest member--a Bourdeau puppy.

I have over 21 years of experience in orthodontics and I never tire of it. I work very hard to make patients feel welcome and comfortable. I'm the "Keeper of the Nickels". I keep the wooden nickel supply very full making it easy to reward you for your good brushing!

INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
I enjoy seeing patients' personalities change with growing self esteem. It's very satisfying to know you have helped make a change in someone's life. It's also great to get to know the kids. It really keeps me young!

FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
I live in Marlboro with my husband Jeff, our two sons Justin and Cameron, and our dog Rinnie. I enjoy shopping, home decorating, and reading.
